Digital

Digital technology is a perfect fit for small to mid-size runs with variable information, unique applications or multiple items, allowing us to print direct from digital file to press with no plates required. We provide a multitude of constructions for your application requirements. This technology provides for quick turnaround and consistently high quality print. Our state of the art finishing equipment allows for laminations, varnishes, die cutting, sheeting and many other options. Variable imaging and serialization is available for all applications from production tracking, logistics tracing to parking passes.

Health & Beauty

Tamper Evident

Security seals, product protection and document security are just a few of many applications for tamper evident labels. With our expansive tooling and print capabilities, we can provide custom colors, materials, sizes and variable print, including consecutive barcodes and numbers.

Industrial Labels

Relm West offers a wide variety of substrates and product combinations for harsh environment labels. These products are designed to be fade resistant, punch and tear resistant, durable, and withstand a multitude of extreme temperatures and chemicals. These are great for warehouse, equipment, chemical products and outdoor uses. We provide in multiple formats, including roll, sheeted or fanfold.

Coupons/Multi Layer Labels

Relm West creates unique in-line coupon and multi-layer construction labels on our flexographic presses. This technology is a perfect fit for money saving coupons, recipes, and extended text information; leave behind product information and many other applications. We utilize all water-based inks and adhesives to provide an environmentally friendly label for our customers. Headers

Relm West has the experience to help you develop and produce your unique custom header label or cards. These are used in seafood, snack foods, candy and confectionary, toys and games, and many other hanging retail applications. We have a unique process for die cutting pressure sensitive materials for an easy application. We have a variety of tooling and sizes available, or we can help you create your own unique product. Headers can be printed on both our Digital Press for small-mid size runs and our High End Flexographic presses for larger requirements.

Foils

Relm West provides cold foil capabilities. A beautiful addition for a high-end label, foil adds a touch of elegance or classic detail. Cold Foil is a great fit for many applications, with up to 8 additional colors on the label and is available in many colors and finishes.

FDA Inserts

FDA inserts can be utilized in everything from poultry or seafood packaging to confections. This outstanding tool may provide product information, marketing, cooking tips and instructions, safety warnings and much more. The technology requires specialty materials, inks and varnishes to meet direct food contact regulations, and we provide them. Laser & Dual Web

Laser

Relm West offers a wide variety of substrates and configurations for laser printers to meet needs for distribution, warehousing, product identification and a variety of unique applications. Our laser sheet laminates are designed to run through most tabletop laser, inkjet and high-speed printers. This provides excellent toner anchorage and superior layflat properties. We can customize these sheets to fulfill your application needs.

Dual Web

Dual Web documents are used in pharmaceutical, mail order fulfillment, catalog distribution and the emerging and growing e-commerce business. They can be used as both a packing list and instructional form with the additional laminate web used for shipping, bottle or product label. This allows the customer to combine two or more forms into one document, improving productivity and reducing waste.

Thermal

Thermal labels are utilized in a large variety of applications from transportation to case labeling. Relm West has produced and provided thermal products for over 20 years for all of your printing requirements. This technology can be provided in both Thermal Transfer with Ribbons or Direct Thermal which is activated by heat. We have a multitude of die sizes and substrates available to meet your application needs. These labels can be provided in necessary configuration from 1” to 3” cores dependent upon the printer requirements. We can customize these labels for all of your end use needs.

Thermal Transfer & Ribbons

Thermal Transfer is a great fit for an application that requires durability and long term usage for barcode, shipping, product information and many other applications. Relm West has a variety of materials, from polyesters and vinyls to paper with varying adhesive structures. Our in-house graphics group can help you design the perfect format and place barcodes appropriately. This technology is perfect for internal printing and flexible solutions.

Relm West provides all Thermal Transfer Ribbons to meet your printer requirements, from wax to resin/wax-based constructions. These are determined based on the substrate utilized for your application and the environmental requirements for the label. Direct Thermal

Direct Thermal labels are an excellent solution for short-term barcoding, shipping or product information labeling. This technology utilizes a heat sensitive coating on the label that is activated by the heat from the print head. Relm West has a large variety of constructions designed to meet your application needs, from removable to freezer-based adhesives with standard paper to poly label materials. We can determine the best fit for your application.
